Short Information: The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the Constable
Tradesman Recruitment 2026 notification for 827 posts under Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Combatised) category. The online
application process started on 21 March 2026 and will continue till 20 April 2026. This recruitment includes various
trades such as Driver, Veterinary, Barber, Tailor, Washerman, Cobbler, Carpenter, and others. Candidates who have
passed Class 10th with ITI or relevant trade experience are eligible to apply, and the age limit is generally 18 to 27
years (post-wise variation applies). The selection process consists of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical
Standard Test (PST), Written Examination, Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Selected
candidates will receive a salary under Level-3 (₹21,700–69,100) along with allowances and benefits. This recruitment
is a good opportunity for 10th-pass candidates seeking a government job in paramilitary forces.
Candidates must have passed the 10th (High School) examination from a recognized board.
Additionally, applicants must fulfill one of the following conditions:
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, OR
A valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license, OR
A First Aid certificate with at least 1 year of experience, OR
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, OR
1-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade with 1 year of experience, OR
2-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
