Short Information: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued the official
notification for the District Sports Officer Recruitment 2025. A total of 33 vacancies have been announced under this
recruitment drive. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official BPSC portal within
the prescribed dates. The selection process will include a written examination followed by evaluation of sports

BPSC District Sports Officer (DSO)
Candidates must be graduates from a recognized university with a Diploma/PG Diploma in Sports Coaching from
SAI, LNIPE Gwalior, a Central Sports University, or any UGC/Bihar-recognized sports university.
They should also have sports achievements such as representing India in international events (Olympics,
Commonwealth, Asian Games), representing the state at the national level, or multiple participations in
recognized university, youth, inter-services, police, or railway championships.
