Candidates seeking lateral entry into the second year of Engineering, Paramedical, or Pharmacy courses can now download their allotment letter from the official BCECEB portal. This allotment confirms seat allocation based on merit and preferences submitted earlier. Successful candidates must report for document verification and complete admission formalities between July 21–22, 2025, at their assigned nodal centers. Engineering Course Group: - Passed a minimum of 3-Year / 2-Year (Lateral Entry) Diploma in any branch of Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories), OR - Passed B.Sc. degree from a UGC-recognized university with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories), and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject, OR - Passed D.Voc. in the same or allied sector. (Bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing may be required for non-engineering background students.) |

Para Medical Degree Course Group: - Passed a 2-Year Para Medical Diploma course recognized by the Government of Bihar or Government of India. - Candidates appearing in the final year exam may also apply, but must have passed by the time of counseling. - Admission will be to the 2nd year of a higher para medical degree course related to the diploma specialization. - If no higher course is available in the relevant diploma stream, the candidate will not be eligible for admission. |

Pharmacy Degree Course Group: - Passed a 2-Year Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of Bihar or Government of India. - Final-year candidates can also apply, but must have passed by the time of interview/counseling. |
