NEET UG Eligibility 2024

Passed 10+2 Intermediate Exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) Group of Subjects from Any Recognized Board in India.

Eligibility Code for NTA NEET 2024 UG

NEET UG Code 01: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (12th Standard) in 2024, whose results are awaited, are eligible to apply and take the test. However, they will not be eligible for MBBS or BDS admission if they do not pass the qualifying examination with the required percentage of marks at the time of the first round of Counseling.

NEET UG Code 02: Candidates who have completed the Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a 12-year study period. The last two years of study should comprise Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests in these subjects), and Mathematics or any other elective subject, along with English at a level not less than the core course for English prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) after the introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

NEET UG Code 03: Candidates who have completed the Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science from an Indian University/Board or another recognized examining body. This qualification should include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (with practical tests in these subjects), and English as a compulsory subject.

NEET UG Code 04: Candidates who have passed the Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology, and English after completing either the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination. The Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination should include practical tests in these subjects, along with English as a compulsory subject.

NEET UG Code 05: Candidates who have completed the first year of a three-year degree course from a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Bio-technology (including practical tests in these subjects). The examination should be a University Examination, and the candidate should have passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology, and English at a level not less than a core course.

NEET UG Code 06: Candidates who have passed the B.Sc. An examination from an Indian University, provided they have passed with at least two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology. Additionally, they should have passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

NEET UG Code 07: Candidates who have completed any other examination found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board. This qualification should cover the last two years of 10+2 study, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (with practical tests in each of these subjects), and English.
