- -Bachelor's Degree in a related subject with at least 50% marks and passed the B.Ed exam. OR
- -Master's Degree in a related subject and passed the B.Ed exam. OR
- -Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with a minimum of 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) along with the B.Ed qualification.
- -Completed a 4-year course such as BA BEd or BSc BEd. OR

- -Master's Degree in a related subject with at least 50% marks and passed the B.Ed exam or BA BEd / BSc BEd.OR
- -Master's Degree with a minimum of 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) along with a B.Ed qualification. OR
- -Master's Degree with at least 55% marks and completed a 3-year B.Ed or M.Ed course. OR
