NTA NEET UG Examination 2026 : Short Details of Notification

Short Information: The National Testing Agency is conducting the NEET UG 2026 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate) for admission to medical, dental, AYUSH, veterinary, nursing and allied undergraduate courses across India. Interested candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English can apply online at neet.nta.nic.in between 8 February and 8 March 2026 and pay the required fee within the same timeframe. The exam is scheduled for 3 May 2026 in offline (pen-and-paper) mode, lasting three hours from 2 pm to 5 pm; details such as city intimation slips and admit cards will be released later by NTA. Eligibility norms include a minimum age of 17 years by December 31 2026 and subject-wise minimum marks in Class 12, varying by category. After the exam, provisional answer keys and response sheets will be published, followed by result declaration and counselling for seat allocation.
